Please note that a video tour will be coming shortly
This impressive timber structured building sits on the edge of the grand lake on this secluded country estate. A perfect romantic hideaway, it offers a beautifully styled interior in a stunning setting where nature blends with the modern world through floor to ceiling windows.
No self respecting boathouse would be complete without a boat, so this property comes with use of a private rowing boat to launch from the house itself for use on the lake. In addition, guests are granted free use of the 30 acres of woodland and grounds and five lakes where walks and wildlife spotting opportunities are abundant. Fishing rights are granted to the Boathouse and nearby Lake Cottage guests (remember to bring your rods) and the owners of the Hall can advise you on where best to fish. The lake is currently stocked with carp, sturgeon and tiddlers but the owner is currently applying for a fishing licence and plans to stock the lake with rainbow trout

Country Retreats Candid Comments ( giving you the only down sides we can think of about a property before you book!)
The Boat House is essentially one large room with a bathroom. Privacy is not an issue through the floor to ceiling windows as there is no-one to overlook you but you are in the grounds of the owners' home some distance away. The Boat House has been furnished in the owners' personal style.
