Pets at Country Retreats cottages
Many of our cottages prefer not to accept pets.
However, we do understand that the countryside in the North of England offers wonderful walking opportunities for guests with dogs and due to the demand we have received from dog owners not wishing to leave their pets in kennels during their holiday, we have established one or two cottages where the owners are happy to accept guests who wish to bring a well-behaved dog for a small fee of £25 per booking

Budle Falls , Near Bamburgh - Sleeps 3/4 in 2 bedrooms with use of 9 acres of land
The Fold @ Rock near Alnwick - sleeps up to 8 in 4 bedrooms with large garden and far reaching coastal views
Haven , North Yorkshire - sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms
Juniper eco lodge - North Yorkshire, sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms
William eco lodge, North Yorkshire, sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms

The Grain Store near Seahouses - sleeps 4 with garden and walking distance to seafront
Sailor's Snug , Beadnell village - sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms
Beadnell Beach House , Beadnell beach front - sleeps up to 12 in 4 bedrooms with private steps down to the beach
Coastguard's Cottage in Craster - sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms
Seafarer's in Seahouses - sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms
The Bolthole , Beadnell village - sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms
We do ask that guests bringing dogs with them take care to respect the high standard of furnishings provided in the cottages and not to allow your dog on beds, sofas or chairs.
For doggy care in the Northumberland area while you are on holiday, whether full kennel facilties if you are staying in a dog-free cottage, or just a little 'dog-sitting' so you can have a dog free day, we can recommend a local company. Please call or email for details.
